Mira is a 391-unit, mixed-use residential complex designed by famed architect Jeanne Gang of Studio Gang. The developer, Tishman Speyer, bumped up their voluntary below-market-rate unit contribution to 40 percent of the building - 156 affordable units altogether. Resident-serving open space includes a courtyard, shared and private terraces, and two levels of green roofs. The project is targeting LEED Gold and includes a significant greywater re-use system for irrigation. The complex’s lower level offers retail space fronting Folsom and Main Streets.

Urban design encompassed streetscape on three existing frontages and the establishment of a new block of Clementina Street with a mid-block green space.UDCE served as Civil Engineer of Record for civil site design, streetscape, joint trench, and stormwater management.
