UDCE served as joint trench/ dry utilities designer for this new 4-story, transit-oriented development on the old Bay Meadows horse track site in San Mateo. The complex provides 68 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments for low-income earners, with a dozen of the units set aside for veterans and another four for families facing homelessness. Building amenities include a roof deck, lobby, community room, multipurpose room, laundry facility, podium courtyard, and subterranean parking. The project is a collaboration between the City of San Mateo and the nonprofit Bridge Housing.
