Mission-centric housing comes to life. Construction of the 100% affordable housing development, Casa Adelante, at the busy intersection of 16th & Folsom brings 143 family-sized units to the neighborhood. The ground floor features childcare, Galeria de la Raza gallery space, and program space for H.O.M.E.Y., a nonprofit that empowers local youth and young adults. Rooftop food garden, photovoltaics and solar hot water arrays add to the development's LEED Gold target. UDCE provided dry utility/ joint trench design and coordination for this neighborhood-focused, affordable housing development.
