The Bay Area Headquarters Authority renovated an 8-story, former tank factory building to serve as the joint headquarters of the Association of Bay Area Governments, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District and the Metropolitan Transportation Commission. The LEED Gold building includes office spaces, a data center, and public spaces.

UDCE’s scope included design and coordination for joint trench substructure vaults and conduits in extremely congested areas of Main Street, Harrison Street, and Beale Street, as well as under-grounding existing overhead utility systems under a Rule 20B designation and ITCC exemption.
