The 6-story Mercy Housing and San Francisco Housing development features 108 below-market-rate apartments on San Francisco’s Central Freeway Parcel O, which once served as the northern half of the Hayes Valley Farm. The project includes retail space at the corner of Laguna and a mid-block community garden and passage between Hickory and Fell. Designed by Leddy Maytum Stacy and Paulett Taggart Architects, the development also includes a storage room for 108 bikes and spaces for car sharing. UDCE provided joint trench design and coordination for this project at one of San Francisco's busiest intersections.
